Join the Tuesday Morning Group for a walk on the old Moeckel Road. Follow the old roadbed though diverse habitats and across a bridge over the Portage River.
Meet at the west trailhead at 9 a.m. From Jackson, take I-94 east to Mt. Hope Road, north on Mt. Hope 4.7 miles to Hoffman Road, east on Hoffman a quarter mile to Moeckel Road, and north on Moeckel 700 feet to the trail (42.36306, -84.20485). Hoffman and Moeckel are gravel roads.
