Birdathon at Phyllis Haehnle Memorial Sanctuary
May 20th - For 24 hours!
The Jackson Audubon Society will be participating in the2026 Michigan Audubon Birdathon. This is a 24-hour marathon birding event held at Haehnle Sanctuary. The goal is to have the JAS team count as many species on the property in one day as possible. This fundraising event of Michigan Audubon will pass along a portion of the proceeds to Jackson Audubon Society. Online donations can be made for the JAS team. We are competing against other teams across the state. We get a portion of the donations for participating. If our team has the highest donations or highest bird count, our portion from MA is increased by 150%.
