The Audubon Society of Jackson County, Michigan
Join the Tuesday morning group for a trip to Michigan Nature Association's Lefglen Nature Sanctuary in Grass Lake. Preserve information is available HERE. MNA representative Rachel Maranto will lead us for a walk on the property. At this time of year we should be able to see blooms like blazing star, grass of parnassus, and fringed gentian.
NOTE: in order to see some rare wildflowers, she will be taking us off the trail. It is a fen, so bring calf or knee high boots for this part of the walk.
NEW TIME: Meet at Lefglen on the east side of Wolf Lake Road, by Wolf Lake at 10 a.m.
