Then it's through a field to loop a larger woods. Exiting the woods, we'll circle a new pond to go back past the farm field. The area is prone to flooding, so be prepared if there's been recent rain. Two short sections of the trail have been shin deep in spring--you may want to bring a walking stick to navigate the stepping logs or some muck boots.
Meet at the Eastside Meijer lot in Jackson at 9:00 am. or an the Marton Rd. parking lot at 9:30.
The Preserve parking lot is is just south of Morgan Rd. Take the State St. exit south from 94, turn left (east) on Morgan then right (south) on Marton. The lot will be on the left.
