Dr. Curtis Blankespoor presents A Rare Glimpse into the Unknown World of the Common Merganser

Dr. Curtis Blankespoor, a major authority on Common Mergansers, gives us a detailed look at the secret lives of this beautiful and intelligent bird.  Curtis has trapped, banded, and relocated over 500 diving ducks as part of his swimmer’s itch research.

Meetings will begin with a social time at 6:30 PM with short meeting and program at 7:00 PM.  NOTE:  We will hold our brief Annual Meeting and board election before the program.

COVID Guidelines:
Jackson Audubon Society seeks to balance care for our members with our desire to once again be together for our monthly programs. We will continue to monitor the level of COVID cases in Jackson County. At the present time, we will observe a "Mask Optional" policy for our meetings; changes will be announced, if needed.

Bring recyclables (magazines,  feeders, etc.) to the program.

Weather cancellation Policy: JAS programs and activities will be cancelled if Jackson Schools close.
