Join JAS in welcoming a new nature-focused Bed & Breakfast to our area. Leaf and Feather Farm owners Sydney & John are opening up their property for JAS members to see what feathered creatures can bee seen there. The habitat is hardwood forest, wetland, and open edge around the house
This is an introductory visit with the goal of helping them gain more perspective on building a bird-centric bed and breakfast and help generate ideas for the future. Along with the birding we will take a survey to provide feedback.
This event will be limited to 15 people and registration is required.

Directions from Jackson. Take Hwy 127 south for 11+ miles, turn right onto Hwy 12. After 2.6 miles, turn left onto Somerset Rd. After 2.3 miles, turn right onto Calhoun. Go past the soy field on the right, 0.3 miles and the house is the first drive on the right. It is a long driveway up to the house. We have parking for probably 6 or 7 cars at the house and room for more if needed. There is also a park and ride at the northeast corner of 127 and 12.
